Each and every one of us has a creative power even if you don't consider yourself an artist. Come learn more about your unique power and how to share it with others for the benefit of all. If you are someone who cares about creative, inclusive, thriving neighborhoods and communities then this event is for you.

What would 2034 look like if we all became creative participants in the transformation of our neighborhoods and communities?

How might we integrate the unique power we possess as individuals with our united potential?

How might we move art and culture from the margins and spark a more centered movement dedicated to cultivating empathy, equity, and social change?

This Imagining is one of 17 Imaginings unfolding across the U.S. this summer. It’s all part of the nation’s first people-powered department, the U.S. Department of Arts and Culture (USDAC). We’re helping to spark imagination and connection on the local level and then taking what we learn to the national level where we can amplify our visions and begin to make them real.

We promise serious fun, lively performance, good company, delicious snacks, and a chance to share in a communal experience that can inspire creative action in all of our lives.

Organized by The Art of Community, LLC, U.S. Department of Arts and Culture, Decatur ArtHouse and The People Practice.
