6 weeks, each Wednesday at 6pm or Saturday at 12pm starting January 20 through February 28. CORE Curriculum:Getting Started with Pilates! provides clients who are new to the Pilates method a strong springboard to develop a safe, effective and challenging Pilates practice in a small group environment. This course focuses on Pilates fundamentals, removing the mystery behind the method and building an understanding of what Pilates can do for you. This class breaks exercises down in a way that helps you "feel" your muscles and work them efficiently without strain. Using the Pilates Tower and Mat work you will: -Experience how to improve body mechanics through strength, coordination and posture -Understand how mental focus and intelligent movement reduce/eliminate pain, realign your body and develop strength and flexibility -Feel how a strong core and body awareness will improve everything you do -Emerge prepared for higher level private, duet or semi-private apparatus instruction Expect to FEEL a huge difference in your body after this series!
