Students will learn how to engage in a personal practice of meditation, ready to enjoy the enhanced mental clarity, balance and equanimity this will bring into their lives.

During this workshop, we will:
Discuss the broad theory of meditation as a spiritual discipline
Discuss the benefits of meditation
Introduce various meditation techniques to assist with relaxation, breathing, concentration and visualization
Discuss how to establish and sustain a personal meditation practice

Cost: $35

The Miracle of Mindfulness by Thich Nhat Hanh
Mindfulness in Plain English by Bhante Gunuratana

This workshop is open to the public. Students enrolled in Active Sol's Yoga Alliance Teacher Training program will receive 3 credit hours towards certification.
