Join LBC as we celebrate our supporters, our 2015 accomplishments and share plans for 2016. Enjoy specialty wines and fine dining as we celebrate our dedicated material donors, our favorite LBC customer projects using salvaged materials and our amazing LBC volunteers. LBC will also be highlighting non-profits who received free materials from us in 2015.

Madre + Mason is a Southern Latin Fusion restaurant led by Chef Calavino Donati (Roman Lily Cafe, Urban Cannibals). Madre + Mason's heart is not just in its food but also in the community created around its food. Walking into Madre will be like coming home to the smells and sounds of your family’s kitchen with its simple, satisfying and familiar dishes and the organized bustle of a busy stove. Madre also features many reclaimed materials throughout the space, including several items purchased from LBC.

LBC is very honored to have Stephanie Stuckey Benfield as our 4th Annual Dinner keynote speaker. As the Director of the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability, Ms. Benfield manages, implements and assists in further developing Mayor Reed’s sustainability plan, as well as support existing projects related to sustainability for the City of Atlanta. Ms. Benfield previously served as the executive director of GreenLaw, an Atlanta-based organization providing legal and technical assistance to environmental and community groups statewide. Prior to joining GreenLaw, Benfield served as a State Representative for 14 years, during which time she was a member of the Judiciary and Natural Resources Committees. She also serves on the Boards for the Green Chamber of the South, the Olmsted Linear Parks Alliance and Earthshare of Georgia, and is a member of the Institute for Georgia Environmental Leadership Class of 2013.
