Look no further than the LOCAL IS ALIVE IN LITTLE FIVE SCAVENGER HUNT, when, on Thursday, March 19th, at 5:30 PM, we'll meet up at CRIMINAL RECORDS to kick off a scavenger hunt where every need on your list is met, and met locally--whether its coffee or medicine, groceries or clothes, you can get it here in Little Five. The Scavenger Hunt will conclude at A CAPPELLA BOOKS at 7 PM, where author CARRIE ROLLWAGEN will discuss, in conversation with Eric Levin of Criminal Records, her new book: THE LOCALIST: THINK INDEPENDENT, BUY LOCAL, AND RECLAIM THE AMERICAN DREAM. About Carrie Rollwagen: Carrie Rollwagen is the co-founder and co-owner of Church Street Coffee & Books in Birmingham, Alabama. She is an advocate for small business since 2011 when she started Shop Small, a blog project in which she shopped exclusively at Alabama-owned businesses for an entire year, on which her book, THE LOCALIST, is based.
