Mary Kubica, Don’T You Cry says
When her friend and roommate disappears from their Chicago apartment, Quinn Collins is left searching for answers. Instead, what she finds among Esther Vaughn’s possessions is a letter addressed to “My Dearest” that only provides more questions and leaves Quinn wondering if she knew her friend at all. Meanwhile, in a small Michigan harbor town an hour away, a mysterious young woman appears in a quiet coffee shop and catches the eye of 18-year-old dishwasher Alex Gallo. But what starts as an innocent crush quickly spirals into something dark and sinister.

Don’t You Cry is the third suspense novel (after The Good Girl and Pretty Baby) by Illinois author Mary Kubica.
