Time Out says

From BRC center camp to ChantLanta 2015, the one and only monkey chant! This year it's the opening workshop of the weekend: doors open at 7:00, workshop 7:30-8:30. Led by Grady Cousins. Monkey Chant, or Kecak (pronounced "KetJAK") from Bali, is a dynamic, rhythmic-interlocking, body/voice work. We work with traditional Kecak, as well as explore the rhythmic voice and drum language from 'human beat box' to various world music traditions and experimental techniques. All sounds and movements are supported by and interact with each other, creating an experience which is at turns magical, ridiculous, joyful, and wild. All of Chantlanta is FREE, with all donations going to The Learning Tea. More info at chantlanta.org
