The event creator says
Monkey Chant, or Kecak (pronounced "KetJAK") from Bali, is a dynamic, rhythmic-interlocking, body/voice work. We work with traditional Kecak, as well as explore the rhythmic voice and drum language from 'human beat box' to various world music traditions and experimental techniques.

All sounds and movements are supported by and interact with each other, creating an experience which is at turns magical, ridiculous, joyful, and wild.

Facilitated by Grady, held in upstairs studio of COREdance (next to Decatur Square).

Happening 2nd & 4th Sundays, starting on the 4th Sunday in August, 12:30-2:30pm.
