HELP CREATE an OUTDOOR SCULPTURE for the new NORTHWEST ATLANTA at SCOTTS CROSSING LIBRARY! Atlanta Artist Allen Peterson needs your help in the creation of the Northwest Atlanta Globe, a public art sculpture based on community maps. The surface of the cast metal sculpture will be covered in a three dimensional relief map of the city of Atlanta, focusing on Northwest Neighborhoods. These drawings will inform the detailing on the final sculptural map. This artwork will be permanently installed on the plaza of the new Northwest Atlanta at Scotts Crossing Library. All materials will be provided. FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. EVERYONE IS WELCOME! All participants will be acknowledged on a commemorative plaque in the new library.
