What: Not-At-All-Silent Charity Auction and Beer Drinking
Where: Joystick Gamebar - 427 Edgewood Ave SE Atlanta, GA 30312
When: Thursday February 26th - 7:30pm
Why: For the children
How: By purchasing one of our auctioned volunteers or by purchasing a Second Self beer. 100% of the sales from both go to Big Bethel Saturday Academy, where they feed and tutor inner city kids at or below the poverty level.
Who:
--Amber Nash (Archer’s Pam) and Kevin Gillese (Artistic Director of Dad’s Garage)--
Get two tickets to an improv show at Dad’s Garage. After the show you and your special friend get to hang out with Amber and Kevin at Joystick for a round on the house. They are like Atlanta’s Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman only younger and less rich.
--David Brown (Atlanta Hawks expert and man-about-town)--
You and two friends watch the Atlanta Hawks take on the Sacramento Kings Monday, March 9th at 7:30pm with mega-fan and mega-fun David Brown. Be a part of a historic season with a gentleman who can spout all the stats.
--The cast of Village Theater’s Saturday Improv A$$hole Show--
Get four tickets to Village Theater’s Saturday Improv A$$Hole Show. After the show, you and your 3 guests get to go out and party like fuck with the cast! To help make it a night, you'll be enjoying a $50 gift card from Bada Bings. This is not for the faint of liver -- it’s like late 70’s SNL over there.
--Trevor Jones (beer genius at Hop City)--
First receive a free, signed copy of Atlanta Beer: A Heady History of Brewing in the Hub of the South by Ron Smith. Then let the hilarious and knowledgeable (so knowledgeable, he’s certified!) Trevor Jones at Krog Street Market’s Hop City guide you and three of your friends on a personal beer tasting. A perfect date for swingers… you know, if you’re into that sort of thing.
--Kristin and Missy Koefod (creators and alchemists of 18.21 Bitters)--
18.21 Bitters, Atlanta’s homegrown cocktail modifiers, are becoming quite a big deal in the bar scene. Now you and your booziest friend can hang out with the founders Kristin and Missy at Joystick for a private tasting. They will sample you on their line of bitters with liquor pairings. Then they will create a custom flavor just for you that will come with cocktail recipes so you can show off to your envious friends.
--Sharif Hassan (photographer)--
You may recognize Mr. Hassan from his inclusion in Creative Loafing’s 2015 Lust List or perhaps from Bad Ass Beards International, an organization that we just made up. But don’t let that intimidate you when you get your free photoshoot compliments of Sharif Hassan Photography (http://www.sharifhassan.com/). It may be the first time the model takes advantage of the photographer.
