Organizing Jewishly Cancelled says

What is the point of being organized?
Well, it’s hard to make a difference when you can’t find your keys, your purse, wallet, shoes….

Getting organized means you’ll have more time for yourself, and more time to make a difference in the lives of others. Allison Carter brings the midah of Seder to our lives. Our CBH Events Manager was a professional organizer for a dozen years and now shares the practices for living an organized life.

Most organizing classes jump right in with the how-tos. In this class, we will get to the processes, but only after we spend some time exploring why you want to get organized… with a Jewish, spiritual, and humanistic focus. This exploration will provide the impetus and motivation needed to trudge through what can be a tedious process for many people.
We only have 3 hours so here’s what we will aim to cover:
1. Clutter and organizing mindfulness, motivation, and getting in the frame of mind to get organized.
2. Organizing your home spaces - principles and practices
3. Organizing your paperwork/Calendars
4. Support and open discussion, de-clutter buddy match ups.

Bring a snack, water, or whatever you will need for a 3-hour class.
