Eyedrum art and music gallery is proud to present “Apparent Horizon: Deep Time, Surveillance, and De/Reconstitution of the Human Subject” a group show of work by Atlanta artists Jim Demmers, Robert Cheatham and Chea Prince.

This exhibit will examine surveillance culture, personal agency and the limits of our ability to clearly observe how underlying patterns affect our lives and culture.

From the artists statement: “As humans, we consider deep time as well as the Situationist’s “beach beneath the sidewalk” as both works of science and surveillance. Public Domain, through this metaphorical walkabout, speculates on the nature of our species’ circumstances by illuminating the forces of environmental intrusion and the economies of surveillance that facilitate our megacosmic dérive.”
