Sunday Assembly Atlanta says
Topic this month is What Queer Means! Here's a great video to start the conversation.

The topic will likely diverge quickly into personal experiences.

Come join us for an informal social discussion group for LGBTQ people who are looking for community with secular, atheist, agnostic and other similar-minded people. While we don't tell other people whether they should believe, this is a group for those who find themselves unable or unwilling to engage with religion or spiritualism as a practice.

• This group is for LGBTQ folks. Hetero- and gender-normative people are of course welcome but as a guest of someone who identifies as LGBTQ. We wanna know you're cool before you come.

• This is a safer space. We will work to strike a balance between intellectual inquiry and the traumas of living as a minority. As examples, we will be asking your preferred gender pronouns and won't let racializing language pass unchallenged, but we likely won't be spending a lot of time on trigger warnings.

• This event is free. We are supported through donations.

The venue is wheelchair accessible and right next to the Edgewood-Candler Park MARTA station. Click here for more details on parking at the venue.

The Sunday Assembly is a life-celebrating congregation without deity, dogma, or doctrine. Our mission is to help everyone find and fulfill their full potential. We are here for everyone who wants to Help Often, Live Better and Wonder More.
