Time Out says

Giant Skelly presents: Slow and Low… A night of Deep Dubstep Its been a long time since Atlanta has had a deep dubstep night. All that is about to change. A new MONTHLY held on the last Monday of each month. After making a post about a deep dubstep night several months ago, I received so much positive feedback that I realized something must be done, and fast. The wheels were set in motion, and here we are at the precipice of what I hope to be a new era in underground bass music for Atlanta and the southeast. The theme and particulars for this night are simple for now but hopefully will grow to be more complex in the near future. This first party has FREE entry but we may either charge for entry in the future or ask for a donation. I’m only telling you this now because I believe in transparency and think it will help build a strong relationship. If there is sufficient support for these events then hopefully we can start to bring out of state headliners to the venue. My dream is to bring people such as Truth (https://soundcloud.com/truthdubstep) Matt Deco (https://soundcloud.com/deco) and other like minded producers, but we can only do that with the right amount of support and by charging a small amount. If you know me then you know this whole thing is very near and dear to my heart. I’m doing this to create a regular night of underground bass music that has a proper atmosphere and vibe. A night where like minded individuals can come together and enjoy this music in a cozy environment. All trill, no frill. And so without further adieu, our inaugural lineup!!! Oculus Ployd Nuk Oculus - (Abducted Records, Dub Down, Billionaires, One for All) https://soundcloud.com/oculusdubstep :: https://www.facebook.com/oculusdubs For centuries, Oculus has been on a never ending quest of consuming demented souls and mutating the lost minds of the damned. Nothing but the sound of whispered screams and dark chaos rattle the rooftops upon which Oculus lies within. Armed with bone cracking bass enough to tear down a whole galaxy, Atlanta native, Jorden Stella, leaves a dent no matter what stage he is on. Oculus is on a war path to slap you with the heaviest bass and always leave you begging for more. So far with releases under Abducted Records, One for All Records, Bassface Audio, and Damaged Sounds under his belt, Oculus is always prepping up something that will always leave your face more melted than a marshmallow in a microwave. His dark atmospheres and giant, evil drums are sure to get your body to run into any hard surface. Watch out world, Oculus is among us. he also enjoys sushi, beer, and starting riots. and cats Ployd - (Trillitary, Iris, Slow & Low) https://soundcloud.com/ployd :: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ployd/149268388447648 You know me but here… have a bio anyway. It’s a bit dated but to that I say “meh”…. In the great city of Atlanta there lives a man. A man with a beard. A man named Ployd. If you have spent any time frequenting bass music shows in Atlanta then chances are you've heard and are possibly homeys with Ployd aka Bass Jesus aka The Godfather AKA Chef Ployardee. Although recently named "Atlantas Best DJ" in Creative Loafing (readers choice), Ployd has been on the grind playing clubs since 06 playing with a slew of the top names in electronica from Rusko, 12th Planet, SPL, Excision, Reid Speed, Mayhem, and Borgore to Zoogma, Big Gigantic, Papadosio and many many more. Too many to even list. Without a doubt he has played a large influential part in the Southeastern scene helping to start Atlantas first two Dubstwp collectives; Atlanta Dubstep and Wobble House. Currently repping Trillitary and Sine Language Imprint, Ployd bounces from city to city in the southeast heating up dancefloors with his versital and tasteful DJ sets. Coming soon to a club, festival, ballroom, bingo game, or barn near you. Nuk - (Trillitary, Fokus.FM, Atlanta Bass Wars) https://soundcloud.com/dj-nuk :: https://www.facebook.com/DJNuK DJ NuK is a man on a mission. Hailing from Birmingham, Alabama, he's been a part of the music scene for half his life. At age 15, he was playing at small venues in hardcore and punk bands. At 17, he got a pair of turntables, and few records, and started mixing in his room. He never thought that one day, it would become his life. In 2011, NuK moved to Atlanta, Georgia to follow his dream of being a DJ/Producer. In the past few years, he has become one of the names to watch in the American dubstep scene. He's played alongside artists like Andy C, Dieselboy, Liquid Stranger, Nero, Excision, Emalkay, Megalodon, Downlink, and many more. NuK is a resident DJ for Atlanta Bass Wars, which was on DOANDROIDSDANCE's list of the top 10 club nights in the USA in 2012. He also has quite the international following for his weekly internet radio shows on Dubstep FM, Filth FM, and most recently Fokus FM. NuK has been grinding, and continues to do so. He's in the business for one reason - the music
