Stay Drunk On Writing Writer's Workshop
Advertising
Time Out says
“You must stay drunk on writing so reality cannot destroy you.”
-Ray Bradbury
This is for the writers, of all variety. We tend to be procrastinating loners.; isolated, neurotic, caffeine-addled, crippled by consuming feelings of panic, self-loathing and crushing inadequacy (yes, we’re referencing De Niro) and that’s on a good day. So we’re inviting you to step out of the fire light, move your head, leave your cave (and yes, that’s Plato), and join us at a bar to share your latest work. We must stay drunk on writing, yes, but also on beer.
The seventh Stay Drunk On Writing Writer’s Workshop will be meeting at Manuel's Tavern on the 5th of February at 7:00 pm. If you're sharing, either bring enough copies for everyone, or be prepared to read.
