Stones In His Pockets By Marie Jones says
Our first Main Stage production of the year is this delightful comedy which will leave you in stitches.

Set in a rural town in Ireland overrun by a Hollywood film crew, the play centers around two friends and extras, Jake Quinn and Charlie Conlon. Jake and Charlie are thirty-somethings who meet when working as extras on a big American movie being shot in Ireland. Charlie's video shop in Ballycastle has gone bankrupt and Jake has returned to Kerry after a futile few years in the US. The movie is a wonderful break from worrying about their futures, until the harsh realities of rural life break through.

Two actors (RJ Allen and Matthew Welch) play fourteen roles, bringing to glorious life the men and women of rural Ireland that have loomed large in our imaginations as far back as The Quiet Man. Written by a playwright for the people, Marie Jones’s Stones in His Pockets is enjoying a renaissance of productions as it celebrates its twentieth birthday. The London Independent called the show "Fascinating, Moving and Hilarious!"

STONES IN HIS POCKETS opens May 6th (preview May 5th) and runs through May 22nd. Show times: Thursday-Saturday @ 8pm (including a performance on Wednesday, May 11); Sundays @ 2:30pm.
