Time Out says
The next installment in our monthly family-style, communal dinner--the Sunday Share--takes its inspiration from the Las Fallas festival in Valencia.
For days, locals celebrate St. Joseph while erecting elaborate fallas-complex cardboard and paper-maché structures bearing handmade figurines called ninots–which climb high into the Spanish skies. The fiesta ends in a blazing finale when these unique works of art are symbolically burst into flames and everything that is bad is reborn from the ashes for the new season. The smells of paella and true Spanish tortillas fill the air and feed the masses. Our celebration of this cleansing festival will be a great kick off to our year of Sunday Shares.
