We decided to add a little more flavor to the sauce we've been serving up recently. So we had to do some searching and some digging, some tasting and some testing and we found the ingredient that added just the right amount of kick to the Gathering gumbo. This month we bring to you for the first time in Atlanta...NOMUMBAH!

Nomumbah is a three piece ensemble hailing from São Paulo that bridges jazzy elements, broken rhythms, latin overtones and deep house maintaining the essence of brasil's cultural beauty, in the same time that they have captured what few locals have managed to accomplish with electronic music. Conceived by André Torquato, Ale Reis and Rafael Moraes, they have monthly residency at Mothership, the Saturday Nights at D-Edge Club and have received the praises of Osunlade, Jazzanova, Henrik Schwarz, Louie Vega, Atjazz... and released their music in classic labels as Yoruba Records, Stricly Rhythm and Sonar Kollektiv.
