The Modern Atlanta Dance Festival says
The Modern Atlanta Dance Festival, now in its 21st year, will feature two nights of exceptional dance at the Balzer Theatre at Herren's in downtown Atlanta. This year's festival includes the premiere of 24 Hour Dance and the Pioneer of Atlanta Dance Gala.

Featured in this year's festival:

staibdance performing an excerpt from artistic director George Staib's acclaimed work "Attic"

Southern Arc Dance with "Tricot", set to the music of 21st century composer Goebbels

An excerpt from "The Oracle", in which Daniel Gwirtzman Dance Company employs intricate partnering to examine relationships

Choreographer Natalie Eggert, using a vocabulary reminiscent of childhood games, with a duet portraying the reciprocity of friendship in "I am Rubber, You are Glue"

Sean Hilton, of Fly on a Wall Collective, offering "fellow", giving voice to the play between what is physical and what is felt.

Host company Full Radius Dance premiering "A Bee in Ink", inspired by artist Monir Farmanfarmaian's early experiments with abstract expressionism
