The Original Mannequin Project says
It's that time of year again! The Original Mannequin Project: the party with a purpose.

The Original Mannequin Project is an art-based event produced by Melrose & McQueen Salon. Every December, we gather a group of artists artists, within various mediums, to create works of art on recycled mannequin headse. As a party patron you have the chance to win a one of a kind mannequin head by purchasing raffle tickets (and you can purchase as many as you want!). If you don't win, not to worry, you also have a chance to win other prizes graciously donated by event sponsors. All money raised will be donated to Haven ATL and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

So what's new with The Original mannequin Projet - Well, we ran out of space at the salon, so this year's event will be held at The Basement in East Atlanta Village, below The Graveyard Tavern. We have some new local-oriented sponsors such as Adult Swim, Old Fourth Ward Distellery, The LB Brand, and Hampton and Hudson. Also, Let's Taco 'Bout It will be there with their food truck- because DUH, TACOS! We hand picked only 20 artists for this year to streamline the auction.

Whats the same - Drinking, Eating, Art, Photo Booth and Dancing, in whatever order you prefer (side note: twerkers will be heavily photographed and trolled on-line). PBR will be returning and bringing the liquid love to the party. Theo Celeste will be 5 years strong behind the turn tables.
