We will be returning to one of our very fave venues, on Saturday, May 30th. We will begin our first set at 9:00, and the second set will go until 12:00. This will also be a W.F. Dykes H.S. Alum Night! Of course, all others are welcome! On this night there will be a special short set by "The Shades". "The Shades" was the very first band for both Rainmen, David Tenenbaum, and David Michaelson. The other original members were Rick Meyer, who will also be joining us on guitar, Mark Richardson, on bass, who we lost a while back, and Frank Massey, on guitar/vocals. We also lost Frank just last year. Our former classmate, Earl Wasserman, will be our bassman for this evening. The night marks the 50th anniversary of the first time we ever played live! The venue was the auditorium at Tuxedo Elementary School, at the end of year "talent show". It was 1965, and the last day of our sixth grade school year. We will attempt to recreate the magic from that day buy playing some of the very same tunes. It should be fun! We hope to see you there.
