The event creator says
I’m so jazzed to announce that the July Southern Bell-Jar is teaming up with Tipple & Rose’s night of the Tea-ttoo: An evening of hot herbal infusions and the unique stories behind how certain body adornments came to be: “Memento”-inspired memory joggers? A dreadlock dolphin tramp stamp after four too many Blue Hawaiians on Spring Break? Prison tears for all the people you killed?

The Bell-Jar wants to know!

Also, for those non-conformists out there, feel free to use the following July prompts for non-inked inspiration:

• July is national ice cream, blueberry, and hot-dog month. That time you went to Coney Island and witnessed first-hand the famous Nathan’s hot-dog eating contest

• July 4: Independence Day. Stories of breaking out on your own and blazing a new path

• July 4: Tom Sawyer Fence-Painting Day: The time you duped someone into doing the dirty work

• Famous July Birthdays: P.T. Barnum: The time you quit your corporate job and ran off to join the circus

• July is named after the real, ruler of Rome Julius Caesar. The time you were betrayed by your best friend?

• July signs: Cancer (ornery Crab) and Leo (bold Lion)

• Finish this thought from the Decembrist’s song “July, July, July/ It never seemed so strange…”
