Celebrate Valentine’s Day at the Center for Puppetry Arts! Learn about puppet couples throughout history in our museum exhibits, enjoy beer and wine from our cash bar, and enjoy other fun puppet-themed activities throughout the evening.
There will be a fun, Valentine's-themed Create-A-Puppet Workshop in the atrium where you'll make your own Love Bird puppet!
The puppet couples we will discuss include Mobarak and Tayareh from Iran; Osome and Hisamatsu from Japan; Gonzo and Camilla from The Muppet Show; Milton and Ruth from Henson's The Song of Cloud Forest; and, of course, Kermit and Miss Piggy.
Free Poems on Demand will also be here to write poems on-the-spot on the topic of your choosing.
