Evan Lovett.
March 13th - March 29th 2015
Opening reception:
March 13th. 7pm-11pm.
Featuring a live drawing demonstration by Evan Lovett.
"We work so hard to create. We put so much importance on the end result that sometimes we loose sight of the beauty in the process of creation. This show is just that, a celebration of my process. I've worked for years developing a style and producing artwork in this style. I wanted to share the simple pleasure I find in the act of creating something rather then what I've created. And how freeing it is to simply live in the now, enjoy the act, and simply have it Wiped Away.”
Internationally respected visual artist, Evan Lovett has been tattooing and cultivating his unique style of drawing for the past ten years. Using a simple primary color palette of red, yellow and blue and utilizing the speed of permanent markers he has mastered a technique that enables him to not only block out fast dynamic compositions but also tightly render areas of his designs to captivate and stimulate the interests of his viewers.
This exhibition celebrates the process of his creativity, using human skin as a canvas for his illustrations and spotlights the love and dedication he has put into his iconic process.
