Singapore's luxury resort brand Capella is about to launch its very first establishment in Thailand on October 1. Entitled Capella Bangkok, the property is situated on the left bank of the Chao Phraya River on Charoenkrung Road.

This Singaporean hotel, which first opened in 2009, has gained a reputation for being one of the most luxurious accommodations in the island city, and is apparently favored by visiting heads of states. Capella Bangkok is the brand’s fifth undertaking overseas, following properties in Ubud, Shanghai, Sanya and Dusseldorf. Thailand’s first Capella is part of the Chao Phraya Estate and is located in the same compound as the soon-to-open Four Seasons Bangkok Hotel on Charoenkrung Road.

Designed by Hamiltons and BAMO, the riverside resort will be home to 101 guestrooms, seven of which are villas, making Capella one of the very few Bangkok hotels to feature this type of room. Food options include Thai restaurant Phra Nakhon and French eatery Côte by star-studded chef Mauro Colagreco.

To celebrate the opening, Capella Bangkok is rolling out several introductory deals starting from B17,500 for an overnight stay with breakfast, a daily B3,000 to B8,000 cash credit, free non-alcoholic drinks from the minibar and a roundtrip limo transfer for villa guests. For more information and reservations, visit the resort's website.
