The Thai New Year is fast approaching and The Mall Group is celebrating the auspicious occasion by hosting Kud Thai Only Thailand’s Best - TRI FEST. EDITION at the three lifestyle destinations that make up EM DISTRICT.
As the name suggests (“Kud Thai” refers to Thailand’s best selection), this visionary showcase, which runs until April 18, features all things produced, created, and designed by the great minds of Thailand, including local souvenirs, fashion and lifestyle products, Muay Thai gear, rare tropical fruits and delicious street food!
The long-standing EMPORIUM DEPARTMENT STORE is grounds for POP FEST, an event that takes on the duty of showcasing Thai designs and products in a fun and colorful way. From talented designers to big and small producers across the country, they’re all here to serve as inspiration and a reminder of what our homegrown talents are capable of.
Head to FASHION HALL & EM WALK on the 1st floor where the THAI POP zone is located. Here, you’ll find the best selection of lifestyle goods, Thai souvenirs, as well as fashion and artisanal items from brands such as The only market, Bangkokian by Another story, and The shop. When hunger strikes, it’s easy to walk up to the 4th floor to GOURMET MARKET & GOURMET EATS for the BEST OF THAI TASTE zone where, you guessed it, the country’s best foods are on offer! Fill up on the best local bites and load up on some of the rarest types of tropical favorites like mangosteens, mangos, pomelos, and rose apples before heading over to GOURMET EATS to enjoy beloved dishes from famous street vendors like Yih Sahp Luhk, Pad Thai Fai Ta Lu, and Nai Uan Yen Ta Fo.
For those who want to get their hands dirty with creative endeavors, a line-up of workshops, from a Thai dessert-making demonstration to ceramic painting classes, offers first-hand experience in all things Thai every weekend.
Get in the spirited mood of the Thai New Year as local bands play Thai folk music on the weekends and public holidays every 13:00, 15:00, and 17:00.
