แอบส่องฟักทองป้า Yayoi ผุดกลางกรุงก่อน Bangkok Art Biennale 2018 เริ่มอย่างเป็นทางการพรุ่งนี้

ถึงแม้ Bangkok Art Biennale 2018 จะเปิดงานอย่างเป็นทางการพรุ่งนี้วันแรก และจัดแสดงผลงานในพื้นที่กว่า 20 แห่งทั่วกรุงเทพฯ ไปจนถึงวันที่ 3 กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ. 2562 แต่ตอนนี้ศิลปินหลายท่านได้เริ่มติดตั้งผลงานกันไปบ้างแล้ว แน่นอนว่าหนึ่งในนั้นก็คือผลงานฟักทองลายจุดของ Yayoi Kusama ศิลปินร่วมสมัยชาวญี่ปุ่นวัย 89 ปีจะนำฟักทองลายจุด 14 ลูก (ชุดเดียวกับที่เคยจัดแสดงที่ห้างสรรพสินค้า Ginza Six ที่โตเกียว) มาจัดแสดงที่ศูนย์การค้าเซ็นทรัลเวิลด์ นอกจากนี้ยังมีงานอื่นๆ มาจัดแสดงที่ห้างสรรพสินค้าสยามพารากอนด้วยเช่นกัน

Here are some pics I took of some of the art pieces for the upcoming Bangkok Art Biennale 2018, Thailand’s first international contemporary art festival that will take place across 20 locations throughout Bangkok, featuring works from 75 artists from around the world. While I am no art critic (far from it haha), I can say that I am genuinely amazed at what these very talented artists have produced for us to see and marvel at (and try to make sense of it all). Shame I can only post 10 of them out of a possible 70+, so there’s a lot of art to appreciate when you to decide to travel around the city and check em out yourself. Definitely will be a fun activity for casual and hardcore art lovers to keep them busy for the next few months (the art pieces are up until February). #BAB2018 #BangkokArtBiennale2018 #artappreciation #IGBlogPost #art #gallery
