The United States is full of some truly stunning scenery, from famous mountains to flowing rivers to...the Green Monster? Yes, Fenway Park—the oldest active ballpark in Major League Baseball and the home field of Boston's beloved Red Sox since 1912—was ranked alongside natural stunners like the Grand Canyon, Yosemite Valley and Utah's Delicate Arch as one of the best views in the United States, per a recent study by travel site LoveEXPLORING.

The site singled out the top 50 best views in each state in the country, from New Mexico's Rio Grande Gorge Bridge to New York's Top of the Rock, and to represent the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Boston's iconic baseball stadium was chosen as the state's most postcard-worthy destination. "A trip to Massachusetts without experiencing the drama and sporting history of Fenway Park—home of the Boston Red Sox—is like leaving onions and condiments off your stadium hot dog—a real swing and a miss," reasoned the site about the ball park's inclusion.

And we'd be very inclined to agree—designed by architect James E. McLaughlin, the world-famous jewel-box stadium blends historical charm with modern updates, from its traditional "tapestry brickstyle" facade to that signature Green Monster, the towering left-field wall decorated with hundreds of signatures from past and present baseball players.

"The most famous seat in the house is The Red Seata lone crimson dot in a sea of green in Section 42 of the right-field bleachers," LoveEXPLORING said of Fenway. "It marks the spot where Ted Williams launched the longest home run in Fenway history on June 9, 1946, a 502-foot blast that punctured a spectator’s straw hat."

Fenway Park came in at No. 34 on LoveEXPLORING's list, bookended by Indiana Dunes National Park in Indiana and Denali, North America’s highest peak, in Alaska. You can check out what made America's top 10 best views below.
