One of Boston’s classic steakhouses, Grill 23, has announced an exciting and delicious pop-up for the month of July in Nantucket. From July 9th through the 27th, luxury resort White Elephant Inn will be home to Boston's top steakhouse, serving all the classics we've all enjoyed at the Back Bay location. This is in celebration of the restaurant’s 40th year.
What’s on the Grill 23 pop-up menu?
Since this is a celebration and special pop up, the Grill 23 experience on Nantucket will feature luxurious menu items you’ll only be able to get on the island. Diners can order Grill 23’s privately branded caviar, a surf and turf featuring a tomahawk ribeye and baked stuffed lobster, tagliatelle with freshly shaved black truffles, the restaurants crispy tater tots topped with freshly shaved black truffles, daily catches from the local waters, and seasonal products from local purveyors such as: Bartlett’s Farm, BlueFin Tuna Nantucket, Pocomo Meadow Oyster, Spearpoint Oysters, and Grey B.
Can I get my Grill 23 favorites?
Of course, the menu will also feature Grill 23 favorites like A5 Wagyu, the restaurant's famous 100 day dry aged ribeye, abundant raw bar offerings and all the steakhouse sides you love.
What can diners expect at the Grill 23 pop-up?
Why all the fuss? “Two iconic brands are joining together to celebrate milestone anniversaries this summer,” Chris Himmel of the Himmel Hospitality Group, which owns Grill 23, told Time Out Boston. “Grill 23 is celebrating 40 years by hosting a pop up for the first time on Nantucket at the White Elephant, which is celebrating 100 Years. Both properties are also completing renovations to commemorate these anniversaries and so the timing is perfect to bring a taste of Grill 23 to the island.”
Diners can expect the same level of service they get at the Back Bay location, as Grill 23’s entire team, both chefs and waitstaff, will be out on the island as well. But fear not, Grill 23 in Boston will be open in July, excepting the first week.
