The leaves are changing, the air is crisping, and fall is officially upon us—and we folks at Time Out Market Boston will be celebrating the season in style with its Fall Festival in the Fenway this October.

Pry yourself away from the pumpkin patches and join us for all of the fall things on October 16 between noon and 10pm. We’re talking tastings with some of the best craft cideries in Massachusetts, seasonal donuts and food specials, and cocktails that taste just like autumn in a glass—all culminating in a nighttime screening of the cherished cult classic (and Salem-shot flick) Hocus Pocus

Don your coziest sweater and jump headfirst into those fall feels with our local hard cider tasting, which will take place from noon to 5pm. Far From the Tree, Artifact Cider Project, Lookout Farm, Stormalong and High Limb will all be stationed throughout Time Out Market Boston to share sips of their finest apple-brewed libations. You can then head to the bar for full cans or drafts of our favorite varieties hailing from each cidery.

Is cider not really your thing? We have a full list of fallish beverages that can be found at the bar, like Flannel Season (our fall sangria with Laird’s Applejack brandy, Bacardi spiced rum, cinnamon, apple cider and red wine), as well as Pear Pressure (St. George's citrus vodka, St. George's spiced pear liqueur, lemon, pomegranate and prosecco). All season long, we’ll also be shaking up a selection of specialty drinks that we’ve curated from some of Boston’s most celebrated mixology experts, including: Back Bar’s Captain's Log, a mixture of Time Out Market Boston's private stash of Privateer rum, Oloroso sherry, Aperol, Angostura bitters and saline; Eli Shapiro’s Recess, a blend of Bully Boy vodka, Cruzan coconut rum, chocolate coconut milk, cold brew coffee and crème de menthe with a miniature Hood ice cream sandwich garnish; Jackson Cannon’s Red Maple, a concoction of Appleton Jamaican rum, maple syrup, lemon and Peychaud's; and @nailthecocktail’s Cinnamon Challenge, a harmony of Bacardi spiced rum, cold brew coffee, passionfruit juice, cinnamon, lime juice, maple syrup and vanilla.

After working up an appetite crushing those craft ciders and cocktails, you can refuel with a number of fall food specials coming out of Time Out Market Boston’s slew of kitchens. For one thing, Union Square Donuts will have oodles of autumn-flavored confections that’ll fulfill all of your wildest pumpkin and apple dessert dreams. Amongst the doughy delights that will be available: its pumpkin spice latte donut, pumpkin maple praline roll, pumpkin cheesecake crumble donut, vegan apple cider chai donut, apple cider cake donut, apple crisp à la mode donut and apple fritter. Other seasonally inspired dishes to find here in the Fenway will include butternut squash gnocchi from Schlow’s Italian Kitchen, butternut squash soup from Revolution Health Kitchen and apple strudel gelato from Gelato and Chill.

Once the sun goes down, make your way out to the lawn in front of 401 Park Drive for a screening of Hocus of Pocus. The beloved, 1993 Disney movie will start at 7pm—be sure to dress warmly and please note that the use of all black-flamed candles and skin-bound spell books will be strictly prohibited.
