The end of the year in Cascais will be marked with plenty of music. At the Gardens of Casino Estoril, audiences can attend four free concerts: on 30 December, Carolina Deslandes takes to the stage at 9.30 pm, followed by Nininho Vaz Maia at midnight. The following day, Agir opens the night at 9.30 pm and Matias Damásio marks the arrival of 2026 with a concert scheduled for midnight.
Cascais Bay will be the epicentre of the New Year’s Eve celebrations on the night of 31 December, with a drone show and the traditional fireworks display, which will extend to six other locations across the municipality: Praia das Moitas, Praia do Tamariz, Forte de Santo António da Barra, Ponta do Sal, Praia da Parede and Praia de Carcavelos. On the stage set up in the Gardens of Casino Estoril – which will include a street food area – the drone show will be broadcast live (and will also be available on the Cascais Channel on YouTube).
To facilitate access to all events, the City Council recommends the use of public transport, which will have reinforced services and extended operating hours until 2.00 am on the morning of 1 January, both for trains and the MobiCascais service.
In the centre of Cascais and around the bay, visitors can also enjoy the Christmas lights, take a ride on the Venetian Carousel, visit the Christmas Market and sample local specialities.
