Ageas Cooljazz continues to add prominent names to its already ambitious line-up. The most recent addition is Chet Faker, who will perform on 31 July, the final day of the festival. The Australian, the alter ego of Nick Murphy, will take the festival stage in Cascais for the first time to present the new album A Love for Strangers, scheduled for release on 13 February 2026.
The artist began to attract international attention in 2011, when he released his version of “No Diggity”, originally by Blackstreet, quickly building a fan base across multiple territories. Since then, he has followed a consistent path, marked by songs exploring themes such as passion, heartbreak, loneliness and nostalgia.
Chet Faker’s concert will take place at the Hipódromo Manuel Possolo in Cascais, as part of an edition that already includes names such as David Byrne (14 July), Loyle Carner (15 July), Jamiroquai (18 July), Diana Krall (22 July), Franz Ferdinand (25 July) and Scissor Sisters (29 July).
