Core Collective has just opened a new studio in Cascais, strengthening its presence in Portugal with a space dedicated to fitness and wellbeing that brings together training, recovery and lifestyle, all under one roof.

Much like its first location, the design remains minimalist and functional, with clean lines and a restrained aesthetic. In Cascais, however, new elements have been introduced, such as stone accents, adding texture and a touch of personality to the overall look.

When it comes to training, the studio includes a room dedicated to the XFormer method, equipped with eight machines, mirroring the model already established in Lisbon. This type of workout, closer to functional training than traditional Pilates, focuses on intensity and resistance, with low-impact yet demanding exercises. There is also a mat room with capacity for ten people, fitted with infrared heating panels — a technology that warms the body more evenly and allows for deeper muscle engagement.

The offering is rounded off with private Pilates sessions and an area dedicated to physical recovery. Here, the highlight is an infrared sauna designed for three people, focused on relaxation and post-workout muscle recovery.

Among the new features at the Cascais space is the Body Roll, a lymphatic drainage machine that combines infrared heat with a system of therapeutic rollers. The aim is to stimulate circulation, reduce fluid retention and speed up physical recovery, making it particularly suitable for those who train regularly or go through periods of greater physical strain.
