Mamma Mia! The Sheraton Cascais transforms into an open-air cinema

After announcing its screening line-up in Lisbon and taking outdoor cinema to Porto, it is now time for the Cine Society to return to Cascais. Only one film has been promoted so far – Mamma Mia!, from 2008 – but the organisers promise more movie nights in the garden of the Sheraton Hotel, in Quinta da Marinha.

The musical featuring Abba's greatest hits, starring Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth, screens in Cascais on the night of 6 June at 9.00 PM. Doors open an hour earlier and the ticket (costing €14.50) does not guarantee a reserved seat, but it includes a deckchair, headphones, popcorn and blankets, just in case the Guincho wind decides to make an appearance.
