Spring, summer, autumn… and winter. That’s how another year of Stylista Markets at FIARTIL comes to an end. This weekend, 22 and 23 of November, from 10.00 to 19.00, the Christmas market takes over. The decoration will be on theme, there’ll be natural Christmas trees for sale (courtesy of Planta Livre), and among the new additions is a wrapping station – so you can take your shopping straight from Estoril to under the tree.

And that’s not the only first. The creator and curator of the Stylista markets, Maria Guedes, told Time Out Cascais which brands are joining the format for the very first time: Origine is one of them, showcasing its ultra-realistic candles shaped like baguettes, croissants, peppers or eggs, as well as Christmas-themed designs that look just like baubles ready to hang on the tree.

Children’s shoes from Rooties Barefoot, illustrations by Maria Reis Rocha, colourful lamps from BS Cool Art, empathetic t-shirts by It’s Okay, cowboy boots from Friday Mood Brand, and handmade earrings by Gira Sol Clay are just some of the new arrivals you’ll find this weekend. In total, there are over a hundred brands – most designed and produced in Portugal.

Also worth noting is Mónica V Ceramics, making her Stylista debut. She’ll showcase her utilitarian and decorative ceramic pieces and run a unique Christmas decoration workshop throughout the day (€8), where participants get to take home their own ornament after it’s fired. Plus, she’ll have on sale the nativity set she created in collaboration with artist Madalena Passeiro.

Keeping the market lively across the Woman, Man, Children, Home, and Food sections will be the DJ from Mercearia Pachecas (Saturday and Sunday, 16.00–19.00). And speaking of groceries, there’ll be food stalls to break up your Christmas shopping with a snack. Expect pizzas, hot dogs, burgers, sandwiches, sushi rolls, ice cream and sweets, plus hot and cold drinks.

As with previous editions, the market is dog friendly.
