There are four new street art murals to discover in Cascais

Eight street artists teamed up in pairs to work their magic in Cascais. It marked the return of the Infinito Festival to Torre, a project that has been turning the neighbourhood into an open-air gallery since 2018. Between 7 and 14 September, Arashida and Los Pepes, Nuno Viegas and Ståle Gerhardsen, Facio and Mohamed L'Ghacham, and CMarie and Blac Dwelle transformed four walls into works of art.

This was the first time the initiative – driven by the youth association Somos Torre with the support of the Cascais Municipality –paired up different artists with distinct visual languages. Luso-Brazilian artist Jaqueline Arashida, whose work bridges cultures, memories, and landscapes through muralism, acrylic painting, and linocut, joined forces with the Los Pepes collective (Meggie Prata and Francisco Leal), known for their bold, vibrant colors and geometric patterns. Together, they brought an unmistakable and radiant floral mural to Torre.

Meanwhile, visual artists CMarie and Blac Dwelle combined her signature female figures with the multicultural themes that define his work onto a single wall. Algarve-born Nuno Viegas, founder of the Policromia Crew, painted his featureless white-masked figure surrounded by the dreamy characters of Norwegian artist Ståle Gerhardsen; and Argentine artist Facio, known for his linework technique, captured everyday life in a joint piece with Moroccan painter Mohamed L'Ghacham.
