The MCA hosts this new two-festival spotlighting three local artists whose multi-disciplinary performance pieces will be shown within the museum in a series of ticketed and non-ticketed performances. This year, catch Erin Kilmurray's dance and stagecraft work "the Function," Derek McPhatter's music theater work "Water Riot in Beta" and Bimbola Akinbola's "You Gotta Know It: a durational moving meditation on (Black) collectivity, labor, and joy," in which a group of performaers will dance the Electric Slide for the museum's seven opening hours.
