Time Out says

Logan Square community art center Comfort Station collaborates with Projeto Ativa (Salvador, Brazil) to present this international artist exchange project, bringing together artists from Chicago and Brazil for collaboration and conversation. Programming takes place at venues throughout the city, and includes musical performances, lectures, dance workshops, poetry readings and more. August 9: Close to There opening party and potluck, Comfort Station, 6-9pm

August 10: Molecular Revolutions and Domestic Institutions, The Franklin, 3-6pm

August 11: Comfort Society: Walter Smetak and his legacy in experimental music of Bahia, with Edbrass Brasil, Comfort Station, 1-2:30pm

August 12: Forms & Features with Alex Simões: Visual Poetry, Poetry Foundation, 6-8pm
