"Homegrown: The School of the Art Institute in the Permanent Collection"

Established just before the Great Chicago Fire, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago has trained multiple generations of talented artists. Work by these alumni is the focus of this Art Institute exhibition, collecting 120 pieces, including selections by magic realist painter Ivan Albright and Playboy illustrator LeRoy Neiman. Organized by decade, the collection showcases the wealth of talent that has sprung from the Michigan Avenue institution.
