"Master Drawings Unveiled: 25 Years of Major Acquisitions"
Courtesy The Art Institute of Chicago François Boucher. "Academic Study of A Reclining Male Nude," about 1750.

The Art Institute puts its collection of 17th to mid-20th century drawing on display in its latest exhibition, which includes several pieces that have never been shown publicly. From a beach landscape sketched by Edgar Degas to a pastel drawing by "American Gothic" creator Grant Wood, "Master Drawings Unveiled" finally allows visitors to take in a quarter-century of significant acquisitions.
