Local artist JC Rivera's Bear Champ character is a veritable Chicago mascot, appearing in murals throughout the city. Rivera's latest solo show, "Still Undefeated," celebrates the iconic boxing glove-wearing bear, featuring prints, paintings, customized objects and clothing emblazoned with the character.
Hosted by Logan Sqaure's All-Star Press, the show won't be welcoming in-person visitors due to current restrictions on gatherings. Instead, a virtual model of the gallery will allow anyone to experience the show through the All-Star Press website. The first 100 people to express interest in purchasing a piece will be able to do so on Saturday, December 12, before the remaining work becomes available to the public on Sunday, December 13.
