This place is primarily a restaurant, but we like just stopping in for a Peroni at the bar—when you’re there, expect to rub elbows with old Italian locals who remember Chinatown before it was Chinatown. (The joint pays homage to its history—which dates back to 1933—as old regulars are immortalized in a dusty photo hanging behind the bar.) The atmosphere ties in to simple pastas, thin Sicilian-style veal and signature eggplant “rollatine.”
