Rumor has it that crooked politicians were busted for taking bribes at this Irish pub in the late ’70s, but as far as we can tell, these days, the unpretentious spot is packed with the law-abiding and superfriendly. The homey, neighborhood joint has survived a couple dozen St. Patrick’s Days and probably twice as many Irish impersonators.
