A quiet corner of Edgewater got a little noisier with the opening of this two-room sports bar. Perhaps drawn in by the food menu (which includes a few huge salads and many variations on a burger), groups and couples drop in over the course of the night, but most of the action is on the TVs, where the game plays at full volume as friendly bartenders keep the beer flowing.

Just an all around superb, neighborhood, hang out! The staff is super great! Other guests are great as well. I don't live too far from Burke's, so it's definitely my neighborhood hang out! Cheers to all the staff at Burke's! Definitely a great addition to the area. Well done! ;-)
Great staff! It's like a family around here. Nora is the coolest gal in edgewater and Brendan is the nicest owner you'll ever meet!
Burke's is always a good time- especially during big sports events - or the Puppy bowl. The staff is amazing and Brendan is the most welcoming host in Chicago.
The atmosphere is always fun, no matter if it is busy or slow. That's an absolute testament to Brendan and the entire staff who seem to be having a ton of fun while working. Not to mention that they genuinely care about you. Toss in the fact that you can always find someone to talk with and you have an experience that adds up to a fantastic neighborhood place!
