An extreme makeover rendered this bar, nestled riverside in the Sheraton Hotel, a lot hipper than the rest of the hotel would suggest. The cocktails follow suit: “The ‘L’” mixes vodka, Chambord, guava juice and fresh sour mix to sweet-and-tart perfection. The tourist clientele doesn’t always match the contemporary vibe, but the drinks make the trade-off worth it.
