This cozy wine bar is a sibling of next door’s Dunlays on Clark, a casual bar/restaurant, but the high ceilings here give it some kind of urban barnyard feel. The bottle selection is excellent (though we wish there were more glass options), and you won’t find even the slightest whiff of pretension, despite the mostly yuppie clientele.

Yes, please. A great spot to grab a drink with a relaxed vibe. The first time I went in was on a Monday, and by accident we discovered that that night is half off bottles of wine – not a bad way to start a week! My friend and I each got the trio of toasts, where you could choose different flavors. For $10 I was expecting 3 small pieces but they were hearty slices of sourdough baguette piled with toppings. The caprese one was delicious, as was the spicy salami and peppers, but they were all worth tasting, and filling too!
