This likable little tavern approaches the idea of “local” with militant seriousness: The 28 draft lines run Goose Island, Half Acre, Metropolitan, Finch’s, Flossmoor Station, Two Brothers and Three Floyds—and that doesn’t even begin to cover it—while two taps are dedicated to Michigan wines. There are a few non-Midwest offerings, too, but even Allagash White (from Maine) falls into the menu category “imports.”

Being from Wisconsin, I've wanted to eat at Farmhouse for quite some time. When I finally made it, I was somewhat let down. The prices are a little high and the food wasn't that great. However, the cheese curds were excellent. If you're going to stop here, definitely get the curds!
