Though the sign outside gets the ’40s-ish feeling just right, keep your zoot suit at home: Inside, Rihanna is singing and martinis are made with St. Germain. Skip the appetizers and head for the sandwiches, like a fried chicken version.

Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable! Food and drinks are always prompt and delicious. Just enough TVs to be a good spot to watch a game, but also is a fantastic date night joint if you want to get romantic.
I adore Fat Cat. My husband and I are regulars here because we can always count on the amazing staff that are so friendly and knowledgable, they have become like our family. We will never stop coming back.
I am a regular on weekends at Fat Cat. They have a great variety of beers, the food is good and the staff amazing! The decor is fun and the music to my taste. The crowd is diverse and I love that.
If you’ve ever looked for a bit to eat before attending a show at the Aragon or the Riviera, you’ve probably stopped by Fat Cat for a burger and a beer. However, this Uptown joint is worth checking out even if you’re not wolfing down a pre-concert meal—there’s always a solid list of beers on tap (including at least one selection from Milwaukee brewery Lakefront) and a food special or two. My personal favorite is $10 mussels special on Wednesdays nights, accompanied by a cold beverage and a shot.
