Fat Pour

This frat house disguised as a sports bar has 50 beer kegs set up in a two-story glass-enclosed cooler in the center of the space, serves a bucket-sized vodka-and-Sprite "fish bowl" and is filled to capacity with the weekend warriors who stumble around Wicker Park on Friday and Saturday nights thinking they're tailgating at UW Madison.

I don't love that Fatpour turns into a douche factory after 8 p.m. I do love that they have 50+ diverse beer taps from around the country and world. Also available in the large, token "fatpour" size!

Food is overpriced, but tasty, Nothing you can't find at any other upscale sports bar, but certainly not bad by any stretch. Fun atmosphere, enough tvs for everyone to find the game they want to watch, friendly service, and always a good time.

Note: day drink here. Welcoming brunch, great game atmosphere, solid sound system. Night time, maybe not so much, but definitely one of my favorite day drink/game watch bars in the city.

I’m typically not a fan of ‘bro bars’ but I love Fat Pour. They have a huge space both upstairs and downstairs so you never feel too crowded, plus they have an insane amount of TVs so you can always see whatever game you want to watch. Added bonus – their pizza is actually really good and their apps are huge so they’re perfect to share.
