Time Out says

Goose Island got its start at its Lincoln Park brewpub, but its Fulton Street facility has become the brewery's hub. Guests flock to Fulton to snag a seat in a sleek taproom, where you'll find all of Goose Island's flagship beers on tap as well as taproom-only releases and some hard-to-find vintage selections (including the sought-after Bourbon County Brand Stout). Brewery tours are offered Wednesday through Sunday and provide a look at Goose Island's Innovation Room, its on-site barrel aging warehouse and the bustling bottling line. All tours end back in the Goose Island taproom, where you can sample some of the liquids you've just learned about.

What’s on

Goose Island Prop Day

In 1992, a new—and boozy—idea was born in Chicago: aging stout in bourbon barrels. That stroke of genius eventually became Goose Island's Bourbon County Brand Stout. To thank Chicago for its unwavering support, Goose Island created Prop Day: a celebration of Bourbon County Brand Stout and the community that made it iconic. Attendees will receive a welcome pour of Goose Island's 2025 Bourbon County Brand Original Stout, five sample tokens and the opportunity to purchase bottles of the 2025 Bourbon County Brand Double Barrel Stout.
